Merrill Capps is a talented artist, produced screenwriter, and award-winning actor who recently authored his first children’s book Thanks for Your Help — The Towel which will be out in the Spring of 2013.
Thanks to his wife and mother’s professions as teachers, and his extensive family in his hometown of New Orleans, Merrill spends a lot of time reading to and interacting with kids. This has given him a unique perspective on how best to communicate with children.
He has also had the great fortune of working with and learning from writing legends such as Ray Bradbury, Dale Olson, Todd Klick, John Dayton, Rick Clark, Alan Denman, Britt Pitre, and George Clayton Johnson.
An accomplished photographer, Merrill’s work has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, ad campaigns, websites, art shows, best-selling books, and has raised hundreds of dollars for various charitable causes.
Merrill now lives in Los Angeles where he spends his days shuttling to auditions and movie sets, playing the saxophone, writing, exploring nature, and fulfilling his dreams of becoming a fictional character.
